2024 list of most expensive cities worldwide: Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities' rankings revealed

Ukrainian cities made it to the rating of the most expensive cities in the world. In particular, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Lviv were mentioned. RBC-Ukraine reports on the positions these cities took, referring to the Serbian service Numbeo, which compiled the rating.
Which places did Ukrainian cities take
The ranking was based on several categories, including:
- the cost of living index,
- property rental index,
- cost of living index + property rental index,
- purchasing power of residents,
- and the cost of dining out.
They based the index on prices in New York, with the baseline index set at 100%.
Out of the 362 cities on the list, Ukrainian cities secured the following positions:
- Kyiv - 300th position
- Odesa - 324th position
- Kharkiv - 327th position
- Dnipro - 328th position
- Lviv - 331st position
