How to live long - tips from a long-liver
Here are three daily practices that Deborah uses, which have led her to longevity.
Move every day
Deborah assures that she moves every day throughout her life. She also advises finding like-minded people who will share your habits and move with you.
"I’m Jewish, and I have a [friend who is a] Catholic nun who loves to walk. And so we walk," the woman says.
Now Deborah engages in sports not as intensely as in her youth, but still does not give it up. She prefers long walks, which are her activities.
When Szekely lived in Tahiti with her family, she rode her bike to school and returned home for lunch. In adulthood, she also regularly practiced Pilates and then started her own business and created a fitness resort.

Pescetarian diet
Deborah has mostly followed a plant-based diet since childhood. She eats fish but never consumes meat.
Her dietary habits are closely related to the Mediterranean diet, which prioritizes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, fish, etc.
For breakfast, she usually eats yogurt, a banana, and whole grains. For lunch, she has a salad. And for dinner, she may enjoy baked potatoes with fish.
Stay engaged and always keep learning new things
Deborah stays socially active even at her age. She visits the theater and adores opera. She also leads sessions at her fitness resort every Wednesday and meets with guests several times a week.
In addition to her public activities, Szekely always seeks to learn more, and research on longevity shows that people over 80 years old learn something new every day.
Szekely speaks four different languages and loves learning about other cultures.
