Explosion was heard in Mykolaiv

On the night of September 8, the sound of an explosion was heard in Mykolaiv. The military reported detecting a Russian drone heading toward the city, according to Suspilne News and the Air Force.
At 00:05 AM Kyiv time, Suspilne correspondents reported that explosions were heard in Mykolaiv.
A few minutes earlier, the military had warned that a drone was approaching the city from the south.
Air raid alerts
As of 00:14 AM Kyiv time, the air raid alert map showed warnings in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.
Mykolaiv attacks
Russian forces frequently target Mykolaiv, using both drones and missiles in their attacks.
For example, on the evening of July 13, an explosion was heard in the city during an air raid alert, followed by a column of black smoke rising over Mykolaiv.
It was later confirmed that a warehouse storing materials for the food industry had caught fire after the blast. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control.
