'Unresolved matter': Trump declined to name main disagreement with Putin

After talks with Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump said they had spoken very openly and achieved some progress, but he would not disclose the key point of disagreement publicly, according to an interview with Fox News.
Trump stated that any decision on ending the war would ultimately have to be approved by Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He noted that the talks with Putin were frank and that he believed the Russian side was interested in moving the process forward.
When asked about the "one big issue" on which he and Putin remained divided, Trump indicated that he preferred not to reveal it publicly, suggesting that it would eventually come to light on its own. He stressed that the matter was still unresolved and would require Ukraine’s consent before anything could be finalized.
"I want to see if we can get it done. It is not a done deal at all. And Ukraine has to agree, you know, President Zelenskyy has to agree. But it is a terrible war where he is losing a lot, and both of them are. Hopefully, it can get completed; that would be a great achievement for them. Forget about me, for them," stated President Trump.
