Since the start of the day, 122 combat engagements have taken place along the entire front line, with the Pokrovsk direction remaining the most difficult, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, over the past day, Russian forces launched 51 airstrikes, dropping 106 guided aerial bombs, carried out 3,764 kamikaze drone attacks, and shelled Ukrainian positions 3,764 times.

Ukrainian defense forces also cleared the settlements of Stepne and Novokostiantynivka in the Sumy region of Russian troops.

"Soldiers of the 225th separate assault regiment, through active operations, pushed enemy units beyond Ukraine’s state border," the General Staff reported.

Frontline updates

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were 13 Russian attacks. Russia carried out eight airstrikes, dropping 16 guided bombs, and conducted 287 attacks, including 24 with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, six combat clashes took place near Vovchansk, Kolodiazne, and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched six attacks, with one battle still ongoing, in the areas of Stepova, Novoselivka, Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, Zahryzove, and Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions 13 times near Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Myrne, and Serebrianka, as well as towards Druzhliubivka, Shandryholove, and Yampol. Four engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled four assaults near Hryhorivka and Vyiimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, five attacks were stopped near Stupochky, Stepanivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, six assaults took place near Toretsk, Bila Hora, and Shcherbynivka — all repelled.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 35 assaults, with the heaviest activity near Poltavka, Popiv Yar, Mayak, Dorozhne, Nykanorivka, Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Novoekonomichne, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Promin, Udachne, Lysivka, Zvirove, Horikhove, and Dachne. Three clashes continue. Here, the enemy is using numerical superiority, attempting to infiltrate small groups past the first defensive line despite heavy losses.

"By decision of the Commander-in-Chief, additional forces and assets have been deployed to detect and destroy enemy sabotage groups penetrating beyond the defensive line," the General Staff stated.

Preliminary estimates for this direction:

  • 64 Russian personnel killed, 38 wounded

  • 1 vehicle destroyed

  • 21 UAVs destroyed

  • 1 communications antenna and 1 motorcycle destroyed

  • 1 gun and 2 motorcycles were damaged

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces tried to break through 14 times near Vilne Pole, Maliivka, Voskresenka, Myrne, and towards Ivanivka and Novoivanivka, with four battles still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, no offensive actions were conducted.

In the Orikhiv direction, two assaults were carried out near Kamianske and towards Novodanylivka, with airstrikes on Novoandriivka, Stepnohirsk, and Hryhorivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, six unsuccessful assaults were launched on Ukrainian positions, along with airstrikes on Prydniprovske and Antonivka.

No significant changes were recorded in other directions.

Overall update

As of 6 PM Kyiv time, there had been 65 combat engagements since the start of the day, with the Pokrovsk direction remaining the epicenter.

Over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1,000 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 4 tanks, 7 armored fighting vehicles, 37 artillery systems, 191 drones, and other enemy equipment.
