Russia remains the only country that could potentially destroy the United States of America, states political scientist and analyst at the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions, Maksym Nesvitailov, in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.

According to him, Russian nuclear weapons remain the only factor preventing the complete defeat of the Russian Federation and, at the same time, are used as a tool to discredit the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Especially considering that a significant portion of Russian delivery systems has already been taken out of the equation.

Despite this, Russia remains the only country that could potentially destroy the United States. The expert is convinced that this is precisely what shapes Donald Trump’s perception of the Russian Federation.

As an example, he cited a situation from Trump’s first term: at that time, Putin called the White House, but Trump was unable to answer. When he found out about it later, he threw a tantrum, threw things around, and shouted, "How dare you — I missed a call from the only person in the world who can destroy the USA."

The expert believes that this attitude of the US president toward Putin and Russia still shapes the political dynamics today.

"That’s all you need to know about Trump’s attitude toward Putin," Nesvitailov added.

At the same time, the expert reassures that nuclear weapons are unlikely to be used.

"The Russians will not use them — that’s already obvious," he emphasized.

According to him, the world is still held back by a sacred belief in the principle of "exclusive use," and it is this that maintains a conditional balance preventing humanity from complete madness. He believes that, despite the psychopathic nature of the current Russian regime, nuclear weapons would only be used in the event of a total collapse of the state or the fall of the Putin regime.

"Putin loves life too much to take such a risk," the expert concluded, adding that even the faint possibility of a global reaction still restrains Russia from taking an irreversible step.

Operation Spiderweb

Operation Spiderweb was carried out on June 1. On that day, drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) targeted four Russian airfields simultaneously: Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo.

More details about this unique special operation can be found in the RBC-Ukraine material.
