Ukraine works with the EU on new sanctions
Vlasiuk said Ukraine is working to impose national sanctions on Usmanov and Fridman.
"We are already working with many EU member states on imposing national sanctions on Usmanov and Fridman," he said. The presidential commissioner also noted that discussions are underway on other sanctions against Russia.
"At the same time, we are working with Brussels on new sanctions decisions, including measures targeting Russian oligarchs linked to the military-industrial complex," Vlasiuk said.
EU lifts sanctions on two Russian oligarchs
Earlier, the EU's Committee of Permanent Representatives had agreed to remove two Russian oligarchs, Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman, from the sanctions list against Russia.
It was also reported that Estonia is demanding an explanation from France after the country pushed for the removal of EU sanctions against Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman.
