The partners have authorized Ukraine to strike the territory of Russia with their weapons. As a result, Russian President Vladimir Putin may temporarily "lie low", stated Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel.

Podolyak noted that it is likely that the Russian President will disappear, as he has done in times of crisis for Russia.

"In a few days, we will once again see that the man (Putin - ed.) doesn't get in touch. He always disappears when a crisis situation arises. I think he will hide and, as always, try not to meet the challenges that exist," he explained.

Authorization to strike Russia

Last week, media reports revealed that the US had granted Ukraine permission to use American weapons to strike Russian territory.

This information was officially confirmed yesterday by US Under Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian A. Nichols.

Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed that partners had allowed Ukraine to use their weapons to strike Russia.

On the night of November 19, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck an ammunition depot in the Bryansk region for the second time. Twelve secondary explosions and detonations were recorded. This depot had previously been attacked by drones, as confirmed by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
