The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly targeted a Hezbollah command center with a fighter jet, according to the IDF's Telegram channel.
"A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah operational command center and a military compound in the town of Yaroun," reported the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their official Telegram channel.
According to the IDF, airstrikes were also carried out on a Hezbollah observation post in the town of Maroun El Ras.

Founded in 1982 amidst the chaos of the 15-year-long Lebanese Civil War, which concluded in 1990, Hezbollah emerged as a significant force in Lebanon. Various political, ethnic, and religious groups within Lebanese society, including Muslims, Christians, leftists, and Arab nationalists, engaged in intense conflicts during the civil war. At that time, Syria and armed Palestinian units were also involved in the hostilities in Lebanon.
Hezbollah militants have aligned themselves with the Hamas movement and have launched attacks on Israel from Lebanese territory.
