President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says a ceasefire along the current front line could be a realistic route to ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says freezing hostilities along the current front line could offer a realistic way to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. In an interview with Fox News, he was asked whether he would accept a peace deal that left Ukraine with at least 75% of its territory. Zelenskyy said Ukraine could “freeze” the situation now, describing it as a ceasefire or a halt to the killing. He said this was the minimum Ukraine required from Russia. Kyiv would then seek security guarantees from US President Donald Trump and European allies, with peace and security as the central goal.
