Zendaya in sheer Prada, Kidman in florals and Gomez in gold: Best looks at 2026 Emmys

On September 14, the 78th Emmy Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles, and the red carpet attracted just as much attention as the evening’s winners, with television stars showing off looks from leading fashion houses.
RBC-Ukraine takes a look at the ceremony’s most striking looks.
Zendaya
One of the evening’s standout looks was Zendaya’s appearance in a Prada dress created especially for her.
The foundation of the outfit was sheer gray tulle, creating a “naked” effect.
At the same time, the embellishments placed throughout the dress covered strategic areas and added a luxurious sparkle to the look.
The outfit was completed with oversized Mikimoto pearls, which perfectly complemented the understated gray-and-silver palette.

Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman appeared at the ceremony in a snow-white Chanel bustier dress created for the actress by Matthieu Blazy.
The wool crepe dress was adorned with 46 three-dimensional flowers. They were handcrafted from layers of silk crepe, organza and raffia in different shades of white.
The actress accessorized the dress with Chanel jewelry and an Omega watch.

Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo once again proved that the men’s red carpet doesn’t necessarily have to be limited to a classic black tuxedo.
The actor opted for a custom Valentino look: he paired an orange jacket with a stand-up collar and decorative fastenings with a coral shirt and classic white trousers.
The main accent was a vibrant fuchsia sash secured with a diamond brooch. The look was completed with Boucheron jewelry and an Omega watch.

Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez literally matched the evening’s main symbol — the golden Emmy statuette.
The actress appeared in a gold Louis Vuitton dress made using a technique that resembled chainmail.
The strapless dress hugged her figure, while the spiral lines at the waist flowed into a mermaid silhouette.
The “armored” effect was enhanced with Tiffany & Co. jewelry from the Bird on a Rock collection — feather-shaped earrings,

Chase Infiniti
Chase Infiniti also opted for intricate embellishments, but in a darker palette.
For the ceremony, the actress chose a long Louis Vuitton bustier dress made of black organza covered with hundreds of cabochons and three-dimensional embroidery.
The look was completed with Hearts On Fire jewelry, which highlighted the copper and golden hues of the embellishments.

Supriya Ganesh
Supriya Ganesh chose one of the evening’s most delicate looks — a pale blue slip dress by McQueen.
The bias-cut design was finished with ruffles on the skirt and a long, sheer chiffon train.
The lightweight fabric moved constantly as she walked the red carpet, making the look appear almost weightless.
This year’s Emmy red carpet overall brought fashion back to soft silhouettes and 1920s glamour. Among the key trends, InStyle highlighted bias-cut silk dresses, sheer fabrics, intricate embellishments, and references to Old Hollywood.

Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh chose a romantic Vivienne Westwood dress created especially for her for the 2026 Emmys.
The delicate lavender dress featured the brand’s signature corset silhouette, a fitted cut and a long train.
A sheer layer with a subtle shimmer was added over the base, while the main accent was the voluminous, sheer tulle sleeves that fell from the shoulders and added a dramatic touch to the look.
The actress completed the look with Bvlgari High Jewelry pieces in rose gold with diamonds and colored gemstones, as well as gold Aquazzura sandals with a high platform.
Pugh wore her hair in an intentionally messy high bun, giving the delicate dress a slightly punk-inspired edge characteristic of the Vivienne Westwood aesthetic.

Sarah Snook
Sarah Snook opted for understated elegance, appearing in a light-colored Balenciaga dress.
The fitted gown featured a clean, straight silhouette, bare shoulders with a wide folded-over neckline and a short train.
The actress accessorized the minimalist dress with a statement diamond necklace, earrings and bracelets, while keeping her hair sleek and straight. The result was one of the evening’s most classic and polished looks.

Jessica Belkin
Jessica Belkin chose a striking red dress created especially for her by designer Illya Migmun.
The corset-style bodice with defined cups and a sculpted waistline was paired with a sheer floor-length skirt, draping at the hips and a long train.
