Zelenskyy visits The Hague ahead of NATO Summit, receives assurance of support

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in The Hague, Netherlands. He met with head of government Dick Schoof, according to NOS.
Also present at the meeting with Schoof are:
– Head of the Ministry of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans;
– Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Veldkamp.
During the meeting, Schoof expressed support for Ukraine, both financially and militarily. In particular, he noted that it is “part of the family” and spoke about a new aid package that was announced today.
Zelenskyy, in turn, noted that he is glad to be in The Hague, in the “city of freedom and international law.”
It is also worth adding separately that from June 24 to 25, a NATO countries summit will take place in The Hague. Within the framework of the summit, a meeting of the Ukraine–NATO Council will also take place.
Assistance to Ukraine from the Netherlands
The Netherlands supports Ukraine during the full-scale war. The country actively participates in international efforts aimed at supporting the Ukrainian people and advocates for holding accountable those who have violated international law.
Support from the Netherlands spans various areas, including political, humanitarian, and defense. At the beginning of June, Brekelmans stated that his country would transfer to Ukraine a large package of military aid in the field of maritime security.
