Zelenskyy to hold additional talks with US in Rome on Russia sanctions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold additional talks with US officials tomorrow, July 10, with sanctions policy on the agenda.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Sybiha, according to the Foreign Ministry’s channel.
"Tomorrow, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold additional meetings with representatives of the American side in Rome. The focus will be on sanctions policy and the adoption of the next US sanctions package shortly,” said Sybiha.
Zelenskyy's visit to Rome
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already arrived in Rome. Tomorrow, July 10, the Italian capital will host another meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
Today, Zelenskyy’s schedule included an audience with Pope Leo XIV, as well as meetings with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.
During the meeting with the Pope, the two sides discussed possible peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. Pope Leo also reaffirmed his willingness to host representatives from both countries at the Vatican for negotiations.
Zelenskyy’s meeting with Kellogg focused on arms supplies and strengthening Ukraine’s air defense system. Special attention was also given to increasing sanctions pressure on Russia.
