Ukraine has several positive decisions of international arbitrations totaling $6.9 billion. These funds are being prepared to be received from Russia and Gazprom, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy discussed with Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi ways to enforce arbitration decisions in favor of Ukraine while preparing a meeting with Ukrainian ambassadors and updating tasks for diplomacy.

"To date, we have already secured several positive decisions from international arbitrations, totaling USD 6.9 billion. These are entirely fair rulings that demonstrate the accountability of Russia and Gazprom and affirm the strength of international law," the president noted.

He added that concrete steps are being prepared to collect these funds. Tomorrow, July 21, Ukrainian ambassadors will receive the relevant instructions.

Zelenskyy also discussed with Koretskyi preparations for the new heating season and agreements with partners in Europe and international financial organizations that are necessary for Ukraine's stability.

Gazprom's defeat in court

In June, Naftogaz won an arbitration against Gazprom. The Russian company was ordered to pay $1.37 billion to Ukraine.
