That night, Russian terrorists launched ballistic missiles and more than 140 drones against Ukraine. The West must increase pressure on the terrorist country to force it to diplomacy, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.

According to the president, during the night, terrorists launched against Ukraine:

  • 4 ballistic missiles;

  • 142 drones, half of which are Shaheds. Dozens of drones are still in Ukrainian skies.

Kyiv

The Ukrainian capital was under attack twice. First, the enemy attacked with ballistics and launched drones in the morning.

Currently, all services are working on site. As of now, it is known about:

Evening strikes

Also, terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions in the evening. After a ballistic missile strike on Velyka Chernechchyna in the Sumy region, the enemy also began to use air bombs while rescue operations were ongoing.

"Only a tangible increase in pressure on Russia and strengthening of sanctions can pave the way for diplomacy. Any measures that deprive the aggressor of resources to wage war must be applied for lasting peace. I thank the partners who understand this and help. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine with air defense. Russia must be held accountable for what it is doing," he added.

Shelling of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia regularly resorts to shelling Ukraine. Civilian infrastructure also comes under attack. For attacks, the enemy uses missiles, drones, guided aerial bombs, and artillery.

That night, Shahed-type drones attacked Kyiv, resulting in casualties and fatalities. Closer to 10 a.m. Kyiv time, in a number of regions of Ukraine and the capital, air alarms were declared due to drones and the threat of the enemy using ballistics.
