Russian forces will receive no gifts and no forgiveness — neither land nor anything else. Ukraine and its allies will keep increasing pressure on Russia to achieve a just peace, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, long-term cooperation and real results from Europe are now essential, both in the short and long term.

"Almost every day now, we are communicating with leaders to ensure that we have a common position, all of us in Europe, on putting pressure on Russia — the right kind of pressure. We will grant the aggressor no gifts and forget nothing. We clearly see that Russia is a long-term threat," Zelenskyy said.

The statement came as American media reported that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is allegedly ready to make territorial concessions in Ukraine.

According to The Washington Post, Putin told Trump he wanted full control of the Donetsk region in exchange for a supposed withdrawal of Russian forces from the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. That was the proposal Putin reportedly made to Trump.

This is not a new demand. Russia has repeatedly called for the full withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, though in harsher terms. Zelenskyy has repeatedly stressed that such a scenario is impossible.
