Zelenskyy meets with U.S. Secretary of State in Davos
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday, January 16, according to the Telegram channel of the head of state.
"A meaningful meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. We discussed further defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United States," Zelenskyy writes.
The President emphasizes that air defense and long-range capabilities are especially important for our country.
"I thank the President of the United States, the Congress, and the entire American people for their continued and powerful assistance to Ukraine!" the head of state adds.
Davos Forum
On January 15, the World Economic Forum in Davos started. Politicians from over 100 countries, businessmen, and public figures will gather to discuss global threats and challenges. Key topics include the conflict in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine, and the technological breakthrough of artificial intelligence.
In addition, yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began a working visit to Switzerland. It is known that he will deliver a special address at the forum.
