We also addressed matters concerning weapons and scarce ammunition, equipment repair, and more," Zelenskyy revealed.
He also mentioned issues related to weapons and scarce ammunition, equipment repair, and more.
"An important topic is how commanders can manage their personnel: soldier motivation, fighter training, unit staffing. Many problems arise due to substandard work by the military medical commissions. Soldiers and commanders should be focused on warfare, not bureaucracy. We will prepare a decision," the President emphasized."
Problems with military medical commissions' work
Recently, the issue of military medical commissions' work has become increasingly pressing in Ukraine. Particularly, in certain cases, Ukrainian armed forces' soldiers are unable to obtain necessary medical certificates and more.
To address such issues, a special working group has been established in Ukraine. One of its tasks is to develop possibilities for expediting the work of military medical commissions.
Amid subpar performance by the military medical commissions in Ukraine, scandalous incidents have arisen. For instance, recently, a man from the Odesa region, who was mobilized with epilepsy, passed away in one of the military units. Law enforcement initiated an investigation into this matter.
