Zelenskyy expresses support to US amid California wildfires

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed support for the USA in light of the devastation caused by wildfires in California, the official President's account on X reports.
"Heartbreaking scenes of devastation caused by wildfires in California. We wish for the safety of all affected communities and residents, as well as the success of firefighters and first responders who are bravely fighting the deadly blazes. We are standing with our American friends," the President stated.
Wildfires in California
Recently, a massive fire, known as the Palisades Fire, broke out in the suburbs of Los Angeles. The fire has already destroyed more than 1,100 hectares of land, and its rapid spread was aided by strong winds and dry weather.
On January 8, California declared a state of emergency. Three fires are raging in the area, including in an elite neighborhood popular among Hollywood stars.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden was forced to cancel his visit to Italy due to the large-scale wildfires.
