Work on peace plan begins, first focus is energy - Zelenskyy

Ukraine, together with its partners, has already begun to develop a peace plan based on all the points of the Ukrainian peace formula. It should be completed this fall, says President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference.
The Ukrainian president said that the first online meeting between Ukraine and its partners after the summer Peace Summit was held on Aug 22.
“The teams started working, started developing a full plan. As I said, we want to develop a plan based on all the points (of the peace formula - ed.) by November,” the president explained.
Energy crisis in Ukraine
Because of Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, Ukraine has once again had to return to rolling blackouts.
Currently, power engineers have stabilized the situation in the energy sector, but a large number of energy facilities were destroyed, so Ukraine still faces an unstable energy situation.
EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson said that amid the Ukrainian energy crisis, partners should make efforts and not abandon Ukrainians as they prepare for the hardest winter.
