Kateryna Usyk is married to the famous Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
The couple met in school, dated for a long time, broke up, and got back together. In 2009, they got married in Crimea.
Together, they are raising four children: 15-year-old Yelyzaveta, 12-year-old Kyrylo, 10-year-old Mykhailo, and Mariia, who turned 1 a few months ago.
During the war, the children live in two countries: the sons temporarily moved to Spain with Kateryna's parents, while the daughters stayed in Ukraine.
As Kateryna explained in an interview with Slava Dyomin, they decided to send the boys to Spain with Kateryna's parents after the start of the full-scale invasion. Usyk's eldest daughter Liza refused to live abroad. She stayed with her mom and dad, and later the Usyks had another daughter, Mariia.
Usyk’s sons visited Ukraine for the first time in a long time before Easter, where they met their younger sister.
