Who is Oleksandr Usyk
Usyk is an undefeated Ukrainian professional boxer who fights in the first heavyweight and heavyweight categories. He is the best boxer regardless of weight category according to The Ring magazine (2022-2023; 2024 onwards).
Usyk was born on January 17, 1987 in Simferopol, Crimea. He graduated from the Lviv State University of Physical Culture. As a child, he was engaged in folk dancing, judo, and football. Oleksandr took up boxing as a teenager.
The boxer is married - his wife's name is Kateryna. The couple has four children together: Yelyzaveta, 14, Kyrylo, 11, Mykhailo, 9, and Maria, 1.
