US dollar keeps dropping against hryvnia third day in a row (Vitalii Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)
The dollar exchange rate continues to fall for the third day straight. The official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) for the upcoming Monday is set at 36.42 hryvnias per dollar, according to the NBU website.
The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar on October 30 is set at 36.4216 hryvnias per 1 dollar (-0.0866 hryvnias).

The euro continues to decline, losing an additional 9 kopecks. The official exchange rate on October 30 is 38.3774 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0.0913 hryvnias).

On the interbank market today, the dollar exchange rate ranged from 36.47 to 36.49 hryvnias per dollar (buying-selling).

The situation with cash
Today, the cash exchange rate in Ukrainian exchange offices fell to 37.99 hryvnias per dollar for sale. The euro was sold for 40.41 hryvnias.
The average exchange rate (exchange offices + banks) was 38.02 hryvnias per dollar for sale and 37.38 hryvnias for buying. The average euro exchange rate fell to 40.45 and 39.63 hryvnias, respectively.
Foreign exchange market
Last week, the market was relatively calm. Oleksandr Martynenko, Head of the Corporate Analysis Department at the ICU Group, stated in a review for RBC-Ukraine that the National Bank had to increase currency sales by 28% to $735 million.
"The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar has slightly weakened. At the same time, the cash exchange rate in large banks has undergone minor changes on average and shifted to the range of 37.4-38.1 hryvnias per dollar," he noted.
