Unusual winter natural phenomenon spotted in Ukraine
An extraordinary natural phenomenon has been observed in Ukraine. We are talking about light pillars, which are often visible in winter.

Light pillars are often noticeable in the cold season. Ice crystals evaporate at low temperatures, forming a mist capable of reflecting lights in the form of columns.

Light pillars often form around the Moon, city lights, and other bright sources of light.
Columns emanating from low-lying light sources typically last much longer than solar or lunar columns. The closer the observer is to the light pillar, the less the arrangement of crystals in space is reflected in the external appearance of the pillar.
