Ukrainian soldiers from the Prybultsi anti-aircraft missile division shot down a state-of-the-art, modernized Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter using an FPV drone, according to the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The result of the precision work by the pilots of the Prybultsi anti-aircraft missile division: a state-of-the-art, modernized Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter has been destroyed,” the statement reads.
The helicopter was struck by an anti-aircraft FPV drone.
As the military noted, the drone intercepted the aircraft in mid-air, leaving neither the aircraft nor the crew any chance of survival.
