Ukrainian troops drove Russian occupants out of the outskirts of Orlivka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region, according to Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
In particular, Syrskyi notes the courage, resilience, and heroism of the soldiers of the 3rd Assault and 25th Separate Airborne Brigades.
"They knocked out the enemy who broke through to the outskirts of Orlivka with bold and decisive actions," the general adds.
Situation in Avdiivka direction
Russians continue active offensive actions in many areas of the frontline, in particular, the situation is particularly tense in the Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, where Russian assault units are trying to break through the defense of our troops and capture the settlements of Tonenke, Orlivka, Semenivka, Berdychi, and Krasnohorivka.

Earlier, the deputy commander of the Third Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, noted that the main area where Russians are putting pressure is the Berdychi-Orlivka line. At the same time, on February 27, General Tarnavskyi said that in the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to stabilize the defense line in the areas of Tonenke, Orlivka, and Berdychi villages in the Donetsk region.
