NATO summit in Vilnius
Ukraine expects decisive steps from the Alliance regarding its accession. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the country needs clear security guarantees from the West, to be written on paper. However, they should not be a substitute for NATO membership.
According to the NATO Secretary General, Ukraine will not receive an invitation to the Alliance during the Vilnius summit, but the adoption of a long-term aid package is expected.
