Ukrainian drones hit 13 more energy facilities, causing a blackout for Russian forces

Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories are seeing continued systematic strikes on energy infrastructure. Over the past three days, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces have hit another 13 key facilities, according to Unmanned Systems Forces Commander Robert Brovdi (call sign Madyar).

According to Brovdi, as part of Operation Crimean Switch-Off, Ukrainian forces have hit another 13 energy facilities in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories over the past 72 hours.

In total, from July 1 to August 2, the Unmanned Systems Forces hit 177 energy targets.

The latest wave of strikes targeted:

  • the energy infrastructure of the Zuivska Thermal Power Plant in Zuhres, Donetsk region;

  • the 330 kV Myrna substation in Mariupol;

  • the 220 kV Azovska-220 substation in Mariupol;

  • the 110 kV Misto-6, Misto-11 and Misto-2 substations in Mariupol;

  • the 150 kV Henichesk substation in Kherson region (hit again);

  • the 110 kV Topolyne substation in Zaporizhzhia region;

  • the 110 kV Makorty substation in Berdiansk;

  • the 110 kV Volodarska substation in Mykilske, Zaporizhzhia region;

  • an electrical substation in Berdiansk;

  • the 150 kV Novooleksiivka substation in Kherson region;

  • the 150 kV Henichesk substation in Kherson region.

Ukrainian units continue to systematically strike energy infrastructure used by Russian occupation forces.

Earlier, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces carried out another successful operation behind Russian lines.

According to the military, a Tor-M2 air defense system and seven radar stations providing protection for Russian airfields and other military facilities were hit in Russia's Krasnodar region.
