Ukrainian border guards showcase destruction of Russian infantry and depots
Ukrainian border guards are destroying Russian armored vehicles, infantry, and warehouses on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"The front line in the Kherson region runs along the Dnipro River. This location of troops significantly affects the course of hostilities. In particular, the role of reconnaissance and attack drones is growing," the border guards say.
According to them, thanks to the active use of FPV drones, border guards, together with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroy Russian military equipment, warehouses, and personnel.
"This forces Russian units to pull their troops further away from the river and complicates their logistics," the State Border Guard Service states.
Situation in Krynky, Kherson region
Recently, Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for the South Command, said that the Russian occupiers tried to change tactics in the Krynky area, located on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region, intending to force the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of their footholds.
At the end of March 2024, Humeniuk said that the Russian occupiers had stopped attacking the Krynky area altogether and had not conducted them for a whole day.
The village of Krynky, Kherson region, is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River on the territory temporarily occupied by Russian troops, which they seized during Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
However, in February 2024, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had installed a Ukrainian flag in Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region.
