Ukrainian border guards conduct training: Building assault and clearance practice
Maritime border guards conducted training exercises to develop practical assault skills and more, according to the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.
During the training, the military cleared buildings and trenches, learned to detect, clear, and install booby traps, and act in a coordinated manner in various extreme conditions.
The training took place at a location where an urbanized area was realistically recreated.
"During the training, the servicemen learned to choose the right positions for fire control, moved forward, floor by floor, house by house, used grenades, acted in groups with different numbers of servicemen, etc.", the press service writes.
Assistance to Ukraine
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, many of Ukraine's allies have been providing military and humanitarian assistance to our country. In particular, our partners have joined the training of our military. For example, since the beginning of the war, the UK has trained 33,000 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, Australia is planning to expand its commitment to training recruits from Ukraine as part of Operation Kudu in 2024.
