Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down three Russian T-90M tanks in Donetsk region
Ukrainian military forces managed to thwart an attempt by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, they destroyed three enemy T-90M "Proryv" tanks.
"Three Russian T-90M "Proryv" tanks, an MT-LB transport vehicle, and a BMP have been destroyed and immobilized in the area near the village of Andriivka in the Donetsk region," the statement from the ministry reads.

T-90M
The T-90M is the latest serial Russian tank. Its development began as early as 2004, with construction starting in 2010. The first T-90M tanks were only delivered to the Russian Armed Forces in 2020.
The tank crew consists of three individuals weighing 48 tons, a gun caliber of 125mm, and a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour.
In December 2022, Ukrainian military forces captured the newest Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank during offensive operations.
