General Staff updates Russian occupying forces losses
Ukrainian General Staff has reported a significant blow to Russian forces in the ongoing war against Ukraine. According to the latest updates, Russia's military losses have now reached 240,690 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders successfully neutralized an additional 680 Russian invaders and destroyed 18 enemy artillery systems.
Estimates of the enemy's overall combat losses as of July 16, 2023:

Russian losses in Ukraine
It is important to note that the Russian Ministry of Defense has been concealing the true extent of its army's losses since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
As reported by Russian media, with the onset of Ukrainian counteroffensives, the losses among Russian officers and high-ranking officials have significantly increased.
Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar stated that in the southern regions of Ukraine, particularly on the Melitopol and Berdyansk fronts, where intense battles continue, the ratio of Ukrainian to Russian military losses stands at 1 to 5.3.
