Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 38 units of Russian equipment in Tavria sector: Situation unveiled

During the past day, March 1, Russian losses in the Tavria direction amounted to 336 individuals. Additionally, our soldiers destroyed 38 enemy vehicles, according to the Unified Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
During the day, the enemy:
- conducted 22 air strikes and 1 missile strike;
- engaged in 53 combat clashes;
- launched 1157 artillery bombardments.
Avdiivka direction
Defense forces repelled 24 enemy attacks in the areas of settlements Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske.
Novopavlivka direction
Military forces repelled 29 attacks by Russians in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine in Donetsk region.
Orikhiv direction
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Achievements of our military
Enemy losses in personnel amounted to 336 individuals. Defense forces destroyed 38 units of Russian equipment, including:
- 4 tanks;
- 12 armored personnel carriers;
- 6 artillery systems;
- 1 anti-tank guided missile launcher;
- 10 vehicles;
- 4 anti-aircraft defense systems;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
"The Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 3 ammunition depots and 2 other important enemy objects. 258 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service writes.
Russian losses in the war
According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces, during the past day, March 1, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 960 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 415,640 military personnel.
