Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 319 Russian invaders and 36 equipment units

Over the past day, February 29, Russian losses in the Tavria direction amounted to 319 invaders. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 36 units of Russian equipment, according to the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day, the enemy:
- carried out 36 air strikes;
- conducted 56 combat engagements;
- made 1074 artillery attacks.
Avdiivka direction
Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 25 Russian attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
Novopavlivka direction
Ukrainian troops repelled 30 Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
Orikhiv direction
One Russian attack was repelled in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian military
Russian losses amounted to 319 invaders. Ukrainian military destroyed 36 units of Russian equipment, including:
- 5 tanks;
- 13 armored personnel carriers;
- 2 artillery systems;
- 11 vehicles;
- 2 air defense systems;
- 3 units of special equipment.
"The Ukrainian defense forces destroyed another important enemy object. 278 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service adds.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, February 29, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 920 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 414,680 invaders.
