On the night of October 4, Russia carried out another air attack against Ukraine, launching over a hundred drones and missiles, according to the Air Forces of Ukraine.

Since 18:00 on October 3, the enemy launched 109 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and others, as well as three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Rostov, and Voronezh regions of Russia.

"The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and Ukraine’s air defense forces," the Defense Forces reported.

As of 09:00, Ukrainian forces had shot down or suppressed 73 enemy drones in the north and east of the country. At the same time, impacts from three missiles and 36 strike drones were recorded across 21 locations. In four additional areas, debris from downed drones fell.

The attack is still ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.

Strikes on October 4

It should be recalled that last night, Russia again targeted energy infrastructure in Chernihiv region, damaging three critical facilities. Power outage schedules are in effect.

Russian forces also struck Dnipropetrovsk region. Overnight, they carried out a combined attack on Dnipro and Pavlohrad. According to the regional governor, the enemy also fired on the Pokrovska community in Synelnykove district. A 51-year-old woman was injured. Three private houses caught fire, one of which was destroyed. Additionally, a drone strike in the Mezhivska community caused a garage to catch fire.
