Ukraine to receive €1.9 billion from EU under Ukraine Facility next week

The European Union will provide 1.9 billion euros to Ukraine next week. The aid is being provided under the €50 billion Ukraine Facility program, says Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice President of the European Commission.
"On the Ukraine Facility: Ukraine should receive €1.9 billion in pre-financing next week," Dombrovskis said.
According to him, the next two tranches may take place in the fall.
EU assistance to Ukraine
The EU has approved the Ukraine Facility program, which provides for €50 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine until 2027.
The program also stipulates that the Ukrainian government must implement reforms to continue receiving funds.
Ukraine has already received several tranches under the program. They amounted to €4.5 billion and €1.5 billion.
