Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defense forces have struck Moscow's oil facilities and military targets in five regions of Russia and in the Black Sea, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state emphasized that Ukraine is responding appropriately to Russia’s escalation with “long-range sanctions,” adding that significant results are being achieved virtually every day.
“Over the past 24 hours, oil facilities in the Samara and Volgograd regions were hit. Successful operations were carried out in the Black Sea and in the Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Samara, and Krasnodar regions, targeting airfields, industrial facilities, oil refineries, a missile and space center, and an ammunition depot belonging to the occupiers,” the president noted.
Zelenskyy also thanked the military personnel of the Security Service (SBU), the Defense Intelligence (HUR), the Drone Forces (SBS), the Special Operations Forces (SSO), and the Foreign Intelligence Service (SZR) for their precision and professionalism.

The Samara linear production and dispatch station in Russia was likely targeted. It is part of the Transneft system and is Europe’s largest oil storage facility.
