Ukraine's troops raise flag on Kinburn Spit, Russian forces retreat

The Ukrainian flag has been raised on the Kinburn Spit. Russian forces are retreating from positions they previously occupied, according to the Regional Administration of Territorial Defense Forces South of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Footage showing the blue-and-yellow flag flying on the Kinburn Spit was released.
"As a result of powerful fire strikes, the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine forced the occupiers to withdraw from their positions. The evacuation of surviving personnel is underway, and the occupiers are abandoning their defensive lines," the statement said.
The Operational Command South also noted that one day, Ukrainian tanks will reach Dzhankoi.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukrainian drones successfully struck an oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar region and oil refineries located 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the successful operations.
We also previously reported that powerful explosions rocked occupied Crimea. Following fires at thermal power plants in occupied cities and settlements on the peninsula, power outages were reported.
