Last night, Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a strike on the Annaneftproduct fuel storage facility near the village of Anna in Russia's Voronezh region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian air defense systems were active over the site, but a hit was confirmed on one of the vertical storage tanks, sparking a fire.

The operation was carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) in cooperation with other Defense Forces units. The results of the strike are still being clarified.

Attacks on Russia

During the night of October 4, a massive fire broke out at an oil storage facility in Russia’s Perm region, with the blaze covering an area of 10,000 square meters.

Additionally, a fire occurred at the regional FSB office in Novosibirsk after an unknown individual threw a container with a flammable mixture through a broken window, igniting the building.

Earlier, on the night of September 29, unrest was reported in several regions of Russia. Explosions were heard in the Krasnodar region, and a fire broke out near a military airfield in Yeysk. According to local sources, the site may have been storing Kinzhal missiles.

That same day, explosions occurred in the Tambov, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tula, Voronezh, and Saratov regions.

Another military base was likely targeted in the Volgograd region. According to Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Iranian ballistic missiles were stored at the site.
