Ukraine reports intense clashes as Russia steps up assaults in key directions

Russian forces continue attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses in the east. Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, according to the Telegram channel of the operational-strategic group of forces Khortytsia.
According to Khortytsia, on the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy is trying to use its numerical advantage to advance deeper into Ukrainian positions.
Attacks have been recorded near the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, Koptievo, Razine, Yelyzavetivka, and Malynivka. In particular, using three armored combat vehicles, the occupiers attempted to attack in the direction of Novoolenivka and Novotoretske, but Ukrainian troops responded with firepower — the enemy’s equipment was either destroyed or damaged.
In addition, attacks continued near Udachne, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka.
According to reports, Russian forces are continuing to build up reserves for new offensives. However, Ukrainian defense forces are holding their positions and taking measures to stabilize the front line.
The situation on the Novopavlivka direction is no less tense. The enemy is concentrating its main forces near Vilne Pole, Bahatyr, Komar, Shevchenkove, and in the area near Zaporizhzhia (Donetsk region).
Heavy fighting continues in this area, with the Russian army attempting to use its numerical advantage to sustain offensive operations.
Despite the intensity of the attacks, Ukrainian troops are maintaining their defense and keeping the situation under control.
