Ukraine hits key Russian military sites, including major ammo depot

Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes against critical Russian military facilities. Among the targets were an arsenal in Kotluban, Volgograd region, and a missile-related plant in Michurinsk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a major arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of Russia’s Defense Ministry overnight on February 12 near Kotluban in the Volgograd region. The facility stores missiles, ammunition, and explosives and is considered one of the largest ammunition storage sites for the Russian army.
According to the General Staff, the arsenal was hit with Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, in Michurinsk, Tambov region, the Michurinsk Progress Plant, a facility producing high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems, was also struck. Preliminary reports indicate a fire broke out on the plant’s territory. The scale of the damage is still being assessed.
In temporarily occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces also hit enemy ammunition depots near the villages of Terpinnia and Rozivka.
The General Staff added that on February 11, a strike on the Volgograd oil refinery damaged its primary crude processing unit (ELOU-AVT-1), elements of the AVT-3 unit, and other infrastructure.

On the night of February 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Volgograd oil refinery in Russia. They also carried out a series of strikes on enemy military targets in the temporarily occupied territories.
In addition, on February 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a series of strikes on enemy military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories and deep inside Russia. In particular, they struck the drone control center of a unit belonging to the Rubicon center.
