British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is about to announce the transfer of hundreds of air defense missiles and new long-range attack drones to Ukraine. This should happen today, May 15. A report by RBC-Ukraine, citing The Telegraph.

The new aid package from the UK, which will be announced a few days after the UK announced the transfer of Storm Shadow cruise missiles, will include hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of more than 200 km, as well as other air defense missiles.

According to local media, all of these weapons "will be delivered in the coming months as Ukraine prepares to escalate resistance to the ongoing Russian invasion."

Moreover, Sunak and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will talk through the additional support Ukraine will need in the coming months as it prepares the Armed Forces for an upcoming intense military action.

Previously, CNN reported that the United Kingdom had provided Ukraine with several Storm Shadow cruise missiles, giving Ukrainian forces a new strike capability before the counteroffensive.

The UK later officially confirmed the transfer of Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, which were donated free of charge.
