Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson lost to American blogger Jake Paul in an 8-round fight in Texas.

Here are the key facts from the Tyson vs. Paul showdown, compiled by RBC-Ukraine.

The 58-year-old "Iron Mike" went the full distance. He lost by unanimous decision with scores of 72:80, 73:79, and 73:79. Public opinion on the fight was split into two extremes. Some called it a show with a predetermined script, while others saw it as a pitiful spectacle in which the YouTuber beat the "grandfather."

Tyson can certainly take pride in his performance in the first round. The former world champion's freshness and strong desire to prove he still had some "powder in the keg" were evident. The judges even gave the first round to "Iron Mike" on points. However, Tyson's age became apparent as the fight went on.

To Paul’s credit, he didn’t attempt to finish Tyson off toward the end of the fight. The champion clearly "ran out of steam" and could have easily ended up on the canvas if the blogger had been more persistent. However, respect was maintained, and a whole generation of fans will remember the great champion fondly.
