Two Russian oil refineries engulfed in flames after overnight drone strikes

A fire broke out at the Komsomolsk Refinery in Russia's Khabarovsk region overnight on August 11. Another blaze was also reported at an oil refinery in the Orenburg region, according to ASTRA.
According to eyewitnesses, the Komsomolsk Refinery was targeted by Ukrainian drones.
The refinery is one of the main suppliers of petroleum products to Russia's Far East. Its designed capacity is 8.5 million metric tons of crude oil per year.
Another major fire broke out at an oil refinery in Orsk, Orenburg region, located approximately 1,500 kilometers (930 miles) from Ukraine.
According to OSINT channels, the facility is the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery. Reports say a powerful fire broke out there following explosions.

Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the Russian capital and surrounding region came under a massive drone attack.
According to Sobyanin, 237 drones were flying toward the Moscow region between 8:30 p.m. on August 10 and 8:30 a.m. on August 11.
Sobyanin claimed that most of the drones were shot down while still far from the region, while another 13 were destroyed directly as they approached Moscow.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that one of Russia's largest Wildberries warehouses caught fire overnight on August 11.
We also reported that sales of military-related goods on the marketplace fell to a record low following Ukrainian attacks.
