Significant changes have occurred within the U.S. presidential administration. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been removed from her position, states US President Donald Trump, according to the Rapid Response 47 account on X and confirmed by Wiles herself on the platform.
Miller replaces Wiles
Trump announced that Stephen Miller will replace Susie Wiles as White House Chief of Staff. Miller previously served as her deputy.
Miller will assume the role on Monday, November 9, Trump stated, referring to his longtime aide as "one of my most trusted advisors."
Wiles, who has done an outstanding job, will transition to the Trump political operation, the president clarified.
Later, Susie Wiles posted on X that today marks her final day as White House Chief of Staff.
"Serving President Trump in the White House has been the honor of a lifetime," she said. "While my role may be changing, my commitment to the President and the mission never will," she added.
