Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, plans to visit Moscow. The goal is to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a post by Bloomberg journalist Annmarie Hordern.

Yesterday, US President Donald Trump's special representative for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, commented on the upcoming negotiations between the US and Ukraine, which will take place this week in Saudi Arabia. In his opinion, these talks will contribute to significant progress.
"The United States expects substantial progress in Ukraine talks this week and hopes that a deal on critical minerals can be signed," he said.
We also reported that on February 11, Witkoff visited Moscow on a special mission and flew American Mark Fogel, who had been held in a Russian prison for three years on drug possession charges, back on his plane.
Additionally, Fox News reported that Steve Witkoff met with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. Media outlets also noted that he held direct talks with unnamed close allies of Putin and discussed Ukraine during his contacts in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
