Trump’s big win as House passes massive tax and social security bill

In the US, the House of Representatives has passed a sweeping domestic policy bill initiated by President Donald Trump’s administration, according to CNN.
The bill provides for significant tax cuts, the largest reduction in the social security system in decades, and increased funding for the Pentagon and border security.
Trump and his allies in Congress argue that this move will help stimulate the economy and strengthen US defense capabilities.
Trump is expected to sign the bill on July 4, as the US celebrates Independence Day.
“The one ‘big, beautiful bill’ has passed the House of Representatives and will be at the president’s desk for signature at a big, beautiful signing ceremony tomorrow at 5 p.m. on the Fourth of July, just as the president always said and hoped it would be,” announced White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt during a press conference.
What the mega bill includes:
- Tax cuts for individuals and businesses, which Trump says will stimulate investment and consumption.
- Cuts to social programs and benefits, including aid for the poor, educational grants, and medical subsidies.
- Increased funding for the US military, including upgrades to weaponry and development of advanced technologies.
At the same time, experts warn that the reform could lead to significant social inequality. The passage of this law may have serious consequences for the most vulnerable groups: children, pensioners, students, and low-income individuals.
Currently, the mega bill is one of the most controversial reforms in recent years, sparking heated debates within the US and drawing global attention.
Recently, it became known that Trump has intensified work with Senate Republicans to advance the bill’s approval.
