Trump praises Bukele for imprisoning world enemies in El Salvador

President of the US Donald Trump announced a meeting with the President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele on Monday. He praised the leader for placing “the most violent alien enemies of the world” in his country's mega-prison, according to CNN.
"Our Nations are working closely together to eradicate terrorist organizations, and build a future of Prosperity. President Bukele has graciously accepted into his Nation’s custody some of the most violent alien enemies of the World and, in particular, the United States," Trump posted on Truth Social.
He added that "these barbarians" are now under the sole care of El Salvador, a "proud and sovereign nation." According to the US president, their future depends on President Bukele and his government.
"They will never threaten or menace our Citizens again," concluded the US president.
In early February, it was revealed that Donald Trump was considering El Salvador's proposals to accept and imprison American criminals convicted of "serious offenses."
