US President Donald Trump does not like seeing ballistic missiles hit residential buildings in Kyiv, says US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, quoted by Clash Report.

According to him, Trump does not like seeing civilians killed as a result of ballistic missile strikes in Kyiv.

The statement comes amid reports that the United States does not always notify Ukraine in advance of missile attack threats.

“Trump does not like to see this image of a ballistic missile hitting an apartment building in Kyiv and innocent civilians being wiped out as a result of it. He doesn't like that either. That's why this has been so frustrating to try to get resolution to it,” the statement said.

Earlier, Rubio named the reason why Ukraine did not receive a warning about ballistic missiles targeting Kyiv.

He explained that it was due to a software issue in the early warning system and said that intelligence sharing had not been suspended.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that partners had once again failed to warn Ukraine about the overnight attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

According to him, Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles and damaged more than 10 energy facilities overnight.
