At the Peace Summit in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, US President Donald Trump called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán fantastic and expressed confidence in the victory of his Fidesz party in the 2026 parliamentary elections.

"Viktor. We love Viktor. Viktor, I call him (Victor means winner in Latin - ed.). You are fantastic. I know a lot of people don't agree with me, but I'm the only one that matters," says Trump.

The President called Orbán a great leader and recalled how he supported him in the last election, which the politician won.

"He won by 28 points. So, you are going to do even better this time. You have another election coming up, and you are going to do great, and we appreciate it and we are behind you 100%," Trump adds.
